echnically, we saw what the 2013 SRT Viper was going to look like when a toy replica leaked about a month ago, as Ralph Gilles, CEO of Chrysler’s SRT brand, confirmed. But that couldn’t compare to the breathtaking first look at the reborn and redesigned sports car from Chrysler. The new thrill ride will be available in two different models, the SRT Viper and the SRT Viper GTS, the GTS being a slightly higher performance model with ultra premium features.
The 8.4-liter V10 engine will now pump out 640 horsepower and 600 pound feet of torque into a frame that is made out of 44 percent carbon fiber, making it much lighter than its predecessor. Expect these puppies to hit the show room in the fourth quarter of 2012.
